Ana Novačić is a production designer and educator based in New York. Originally from Ex-Yugoslavia, Ana has lived in several countries, including China, Cyprus, Sweden, Italy, and Ireland.

She completed her undergraduate training in Scenography at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts in Milan, and her MFA in Production Design at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. Her professional focus encompasses film and television, as well as live performance and events. Her wide range of experiences and skills allow her to play with genre, delving into increasingly experimental hybrid forms post-pandemic, while balancing work as a Production Designer, Assistant Art Director, and Project Manager.

Ana is an academically trained painter, a published poet, and draws inspiration for her designs from a wide range of visual forms, as well as her multicultural upbringing. She currently teaches undergraduate Production Design at NYU’s Maurice Kanbar Institute, and is member of IATSE Local 829, and the Irish Society of Stage and Screen Designers.
